CREEKSIDE OPEN 2011

Exhibition Details and Terms and Conditions of Entry

The Art in Perpetuity Trust is running the fourth CREEKSIDE OPEN biennial visual arts competition.

Dexter Dalwood will select the first exhibition, to be shown in May 2011 and Phyllida Barlow will select the second, which will be shown in June 2011. Both exhibitions will be shown at the A.P.T Gallery in London and the work will be selected from one submission.

Artists are invited to apply by submitting digital images of work that has been made since May 2009.

The single submission from which two shows will be independently selected will offer artists two chances of exhibiting at the A.P.T Gallery on Creekside.

Eligibility

The CREEKSIDE OPEN 2011 is open to artists living or working in the UK.

Applications are welcome from visual artists working in all media.

The submitted works must have been made since May 2009.

Only one entry per person is allowed.

Entry Procedure

Applications can be made:

on-line: the application form can be completed and three images uploaded to the Creekside Open database. Payment will be made on-line. If you are submitting film, video or audio projects please apply by post or by hand.

by post: application forms can be downloaded from the website and sent to APT with the images stored on a CD / DVD. If you would like to receive a printed application form please send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to APT.

by hand: completed entries can be delivered to APT

The Selectors will consider all three images and if selected, one of the three pieces will be included in the exhibition. The Selectors will view the submissions independently, so each artist will have two opportunities to be selected for the CREEKSIDE OPEN 2011.
